Software Process Improvement projects face a high failure rate. This failure rate reflects inadequate planning to address the common risk and issues that set these projects up for failure. Software development projects have identified risks that are common to projects based on size, development language, platform etc. What are the typical barriers to successful SPI? How you overcome these barriers and succeed at culture change is a critical element in the project's success. This course addresses effective techniques that can be used in software process improvement projects to manage risk and issues.
